Polo GGB collaborates with U-ANT for the management of pandemic events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. By applying Artificial Intelligence algorithms and Machine Learning to genomics and molecular biology, U-ANT provides medium and large companies with the ACORP+ platform. This platform assists in monitoring the risk of contagion among employees, identifying individuals at higher risk of contagion, thus providing a real-time map of epidemiological risk capable of offering the necessary information for implementing timely safety measures.

Alfredo Orrico Genetista medico

Dr. Orrico is a Medical Geneticist who practiced from 1992 to 2022 at the Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Senese, and from 2009 to 2021 served as the head of the Clinical Genetics service at the Misericordia Hospital in Grosseto. Dr. Orrico offers consultations and specialist visits in all areas related to possible genetically determined conditions or predispositions: oncology, rare diseases, infertility and assisted reproduction, prenatal risks.

Ruth Muller Lab

Ruth Müller, a professor and director of the Entomology unit at the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, collaborates as a consultant for the Genetics and Ecology Laboratory at the Terni laboratory of Polo GGB.
